Noteworthy

Noteworthy is a small, advanced choir. It is an auditioned group and highly competitive. Students in Noteworthy learn and perform music from almost every genre. They also spend significant time working on solo and small group performances and frequently perform in the community and at all concerts.

Grace Notes

Grace Notes is an intermediate, auditioned, treble choir. Students in Grace Notes learn and perform music from several genres. They also perform in the community and at all concerts.

Counterpoint

Counterpoint is a beginning mixed choir which performs at four concerts a year. All are welcome!

Cadence

Cadence is an advanced mixed AMS choir which performs at all concerts. Students advance to Cadence after completing at least one year of Accelerando.

Accelerando is a beginning mixed AMS choir which performs at four concerts a year. All are welcome!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Students in all classes study music literacy, music history, and musical theatre. Students learn proper breathing, solo, choral, and performance techniques. All students perform in a minimum of four concerts a year. Students are expected to complete weekly music literacy assignments as well as one large project per quarter. Students have several opportunities to audition for solos as well as State and Regional Honor Choir placement.
